How to find Quarry Hockford Farm
From M5 (Junction 26 –Wellington exit)
Follow the A38 (
At the Perry Elm Roundabout, again follow signs for Exeter
and Tiverton.
When you pass the Beam Bridge Hotel on your left the
road begins to climb.
1 mile further on, at the start of a section of dual
carriageway, turn right (signposted: Holcombe Rogus).
Follow signs to
Once you reach Holcombe Rogus continue through the centre
of the village and out the other side (signposted: Bampton and Hockworthy)
Follow the road into Hockworthy village and
continue straight on and out the other side of the village.
After approximately 1 mile you will pass through Staple
Cross, with The Staple Cross Inn on your left.
Continue straight on, following signs to Bampton.
After another 0.75 miles at a single cottage on the left,
take a sharp left turn (signposted: Uplowman and Sampford
Peverell).
Quarry Hockford Farm is on the left after approximately 100yds. Look for the Visit Britain sign on the
gate.
